A man was found shot to death Monday morning in Aurora near Lowry, police said.
Around 5:45 a.m. Monday, Aurora police officers found the dead man lying in McMullen Park near East 3rd Avenue and North Elmira Street, according to a news release from the department.
The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office on Thursday identified the man as 24-year-old Fernando Daniel Rivero-Padron. He died from multiple gunshot wounds and his manner of death is a homicide, coroner officials said.
Police said no suspects have been arrested and the exact time of the shooting is unknown.
