Colorado weather: Light snow in Denver, up to a foot along east I-70 corridor

Winter weather could impact road conditions across the state, officials say

while some areas along the eastern Interstate 70 corridor are forecast to see up to a foot of fresh powder.

Most of Denver’s snow will fall before midnight with less than an inch of accumulation expected, according to National Weather Service forecasters.

An additional inch or two may fall over the Denver area on Wednesday and Thursday, but the bulk of the storm’s power will likely hit Evergreen, Castle Rock, Limon and Burlington.

through Thursday evening, while communities to the east could see 8 to 12 inches, according NWS snow predictions.

The storm could impact and the I-70 mountain corridor, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
