A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in a fatal early morning shooting in Denver’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, police officials said Monday.
Denver Police Department officers responded to the at around 2:30 a.m. Nov. 3 and found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the man was arguing with Deangelo Luarks when the argument escalated and Luarks shot him, according to the department. Luarks is already in custody on an unrelated case and is set to appear in court Friday.
