The will return in 2025 after a successful inaugural year.

Organizers said Monday that the second installment will take place June 15 at ReelWorks,1399 35th St., Denver, in the River North Arts District, the same place it popped up in 2024.

“Our team is hard at work making sure Denver Shroom Fest 2025 is even bigger, better, and Shroomier than last year,” the announcement said.

Details are still limited right now, but if the first event last summer is any indication, the festival will gather mycology enthusiasts and the psychedelic-curious for live music, educational talks, and free samples of mushroom products.

Exploring the booths at Denver Shroom Fest 2024 was a trip — psychedelic substances were all on full display, out in the open and a hot topic of discussion throughout the day.

The event marked something of a coming-above-ground party for the local psychedelics community. In 2022, Colorado residents voted in favor of decriminalizing certain psychedelics, including psilocybin mushrooms, and establishing a new industry around psychedelic-assisted therapy, which is expected to roll out later this year.

While informational sessions were part of the schedule, the Denver Shroom Fest unabashedly celebrated mushroom culture. “There’s no purpose behind this other than letap have a mushroom party,” organizers previously told The Denver Post.

Early bird tickets ($50) to the second annual Denver Shroom Fest go on sale on Jan. 20 at . See more scenes from the 2024 event here.
