Interstate 70 will be on Tuesday morning so crews can complete winter maintenance, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The highway will be closed starting at 9 a.m. between Vail and Copper Mountain, CDOT officials said in a travel alert. The closure is expected to last at least three hours and up to five hours.
A winter storm that dropped heavy snow and forced multiple highway closures along the mountain corridor is expected to wind down Tuesday.
