Douglas County deputies are investigating after a body was found along Interstate 25 near Larkspur, according to the sheriff’s office.
The unidentified victim was found on the side of southbound I-25, about half a mile north of the Larkspur exit, according to a from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to reports of a body and started the death investigation just before 8 a.m. Sunday, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Deborah Takahara said.
There was no evidence of a crash, and no car was found in the area, she said.
No additional information about the death investigation was available Sunday.
