5 injured in crash at Denver International Airport involving shuttle bus

Five people were injured Tuesday morning in a crash at Denver International Airport involving an off-site parking shuttle bus, airport officials said.

The two-vehicle crash happened near the intersection of East 71st Avenue and North Jackson Gap Street, on airport property, at about 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, according to a Denver police spokesperson.

The parking shuttle rolled onto its side during the crash, DIA officials said in a .

At least two people injured in the crash were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.

Information about which vehicles the injured people were in at the time of the crash and the cause of the crash was not available Tuesday morning, airport officials said.
