Larimer County officials are searching for avid fisherman and Fort Collins resident Larry Baker, whose car was found at a wildlife area the day after he left home and did not return.

Baker, 80, left his home around 7:30 a.m. Monday and was reported missing on Tuesday, the

Park rangers found his vehicle parked at , northwest of Fort Collins near Bellvue. There is no indication of foul play, sheriff’s officials said.

Search and rescue crews searched the lake, wildlife area and nearby Poudre River using dogs, drones, sonar equipment, ground crews and scuba divers for two days but did not find any information related to Baker’s disappearance. The lake was reopened to the public Thursday afternoon.

Baker is described as white and 5 feet, 8 inches tall with white hair, facial hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing jeans and a light blue shirt under a striped shirt.
