4:21 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm could bring half-dollar-sized hail to areas along U.S. 34 near Yuma and Eckley, according to the National Weather Service.
A thunderstorm warning in effect until 5:15 p.m. also warned the storm is bringing winds of up to 60 mph with it.
3:01 p.m.: A landspout is possible near Bennett and Watkins, according to a from the National Weather Service’s Boulder office.
The statement, in effect until 3:30 p.m., said no hail is expected.

Scattered storms are forecasted across the I-25 corridor, but will become stronger as they move east. Winds could reach up to 75 miles per hour and the storms could cause hail up to 2 inches in diameter, according to the weather service.
The counties under the thunderstorm watch include Adams, Arapahoe, Cheyenne, El Paso, Elbert, Kiowa, Kit Carson, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington, Weld and Yuma.
The Eastern Plains will also see a heatwave later this week as temperatures reach near 100 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the weather service’s forecast.
Ozone levels may also reach unhealthy levels for sensitive groups across the Front Range on Monday, including in Denver. People with lung disease, including asthma, and active children are more likely to experience respiratory symptoms and breathing discomfort and should limit their time outdoors, according to the weather service.
