A driver suspected in a Westminster hit-and-run was arrested Monday after the early morning crash sent one woman to the hospital.
Officers responded to the hit-and-run at the intersection of 92nd Avenue and Westminster Boulevard just after 4:30 a.m. Monday, according to a news release from the Westminster Police Department.
Paramedics took a motorcyclist, an unidentified woman, to the hospital with serious injuries, police said. The driver of another involved vehicle fled the scene.
Police found the vehicle abandoned in a parking lot at Harlan Street and West Central Avenue, less than half a mile south of the crash site, according to the release.
The unidentified driver was arrested later that morning, according to a . Charges are pending, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
