3 injured in Denver hit-and-run crashes involving bicycle, scooter

Crashes happened in West Colfax, Central Business District neighborhoods

Three people were injured in hit-and-run crashes in Denver’s West Colfax and Central Business District neighborhoods early Saturday morning, according to police.

Denver Police Department officers responded to the first and North Yates Street, the agency posted on social media at 2:05 a.m. A bicyclists was hit by a driver and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police reported a second crash less than an hour later, with officers called to a streets, officials posted at 2:51 a.m. A driver hit two people on a scooter, who were both taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
