What. A. Finish.

The Broncos scored all 33 of their points in the fourth quarter Sunday to comeback from a 19-point deficit to beat the Giants, 33-32, at Empower Field at Mile High.

Bo Nix completed 27 of 50 passes for 279 yards for two touchdowns, and ran for 48 yards and two more scores for Denver.

Up next for the Broncos (5-2), who take the lead in the AFC West: Hosting the Cowboys at 2:25 p.m. on Sunday.

Fourth-quarter updates

Ballgame (5:38 p.m.): AND IT'S GOOD!!!!!

What a win for the Broncos! These are the kind of wins that define a championship run. — Schubert

Another big play (5:38 p.m.): Nix to Sutton back shoulder, and the ball is at the Giants' 21. Wil Lutz on for a 39-yard field goal. — Schubert

Big play (5:36 p.m.): Bo Nix to Marvin Mims Jr. After an offside, the Broncos have the ball at the Giants 43. There are 18 seconds left.

This game is beyond fall down drunk.

I'm not even sure how to describe it, but I'm pretty sure hallucinagenics are involved. — Schubert

Last chance (5:35 p.m.): Denver has 33 seconds to try and get a field goal to win. — Nguyen

Touchdown, Giants (5:32 p.m.): Giants MISS the extra point. It's only a two-point game, folks, with 37 seconds left. — Schubert

Touchdown? (5:31 p.m.): Jaxson Dart is gonna get a TD here.

Play is being reviewed and he appeared to have got in. — Schubert

Penalties (5:29 p.m.): Cannot believe they called that PI on Moss.. And flag on Payton for coming on to the field. Giants have ball at 1-yard line with 40 seconds left. -- Renck

Sean Payton flagged. Riley Moss flagged. Ball at the 1. — Schubert

19-point leads (5:28 p.m.): Teams leading by 19+ points at the start of the 4th quarter have a 2,834-17-2 record. Giants led Broncos 19-0 and now trail 30-26, per AP. -- Renck

Injury timeout (5:25 p.m.): Brandon Jones is down after colliding with Talanoa Hufanga on that pass breakup. — Nguyen

It is incredible how many times both of these teams have had chances to seal a win and failed to do so.

Broncos hanging on. Giants second-and-10 at the Broncos 40 after Brandon Jones and Talanoa Hufanga collide trying to intercept a ball. — Schubert

Fourth-and-19 (5:23 p.m.): Huge play. Jaxson Dart finds Robinson for the first down. Then tack on another 15 for unnecessary roughness. — Nguyen

Sacked (5:21 p.m.): Zach Allen and Jonathon Cooper with the sack. A loss of 4 yards. — Nguyen

Touchdown, Broncos (5:18 p.m.): Bo Nix with the keeper, swings left and runs in for an 18-yard touchdown. Broncos with their first lead of the game. It's 30-26 Denver with 1:51 remaining. — Nguyen

Bo Nix sweep, with Garett Bolles out in front, puts the Broncos ahead. Six plays, 68 yards in 51 seconds. And all Denver needs is one stop to come away with one of the most stunning wins in recent Broncos history.

30-26 with 1:51 left. — Schubert

Injury update (5:15 p.m.): Mike McGlinchey trying to play through injury. But he's down on field. Got up and is limping off. He is furious. Looked like was screaming at OL coach Zach Strief. -- Renck

Another huge gain (5:14 p.m.): Nix swing pass to Evan Engram, and the tight end slips through a couple of tackle attempts along the sideline to the Giants 18. THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!!! — Schubert

Huge catch (5:13 p.m.): Nix to Marvin Mims Jr.'s back shoulder, gain of 31, ball on the Giants 38. — Nguyen

Quick plays (5:12 p.m.): Two quick plays and it's third-and-11. — Schubert

Three-and-out (5:11 p.m.): Reminder: This game was 26-8 Giants with a little more than 10 minutes to go.

Three and out for the Giants. It's Broncos ball with 2:42 left, no timeouts and the ball on the Broncos' 32. — Schubert

Touchdown, Broncos (5:05 p.m.): Nix to RJ Harvey and we got a three-point game.

What an incredible turn of events. The Giants had this game won. All they needed was to not do the one thing they just did: Give the Broncos a short field.

With 3:51 left on the clock, the Broncos can kick away and let the defense give them the ball back. — Schubert

Penalty (5:04 p.m.): First and goal at the Giants 9. Folks, the Broncos could really win this thing. — Schubert

Injury update (5:02 p.m.): Right tackle Mike McGlinchey is down on the turf, and it doesn't look good. He was pounding the turf before the trainers arrived, but he was able to limp off the field without assistance. -- Schubert

Interception (5:01 p.m.): HOLD THE PHONE!!!!

Jaxson Dart makes his first major rookie mistake of the game, forcing the ball on third down and Justin Strnad jumping the route for an interception.

It's Broncos ball at the Giants 19-yard line. 4:47 to go. — Schubert

What in the hell was Dart doing? Wow. That was an horrendous mistake.... Broncos get ball back at 19 yard line. On first play, right tackle Mike McGlinchey gets hurt. He is walking off slowly. -- Renck

Touchdown, Broncos (4:55 p.m.): Bo Nix takes it in himself for a 7-yard touchdown. The two-point conversion is good. Giants 26, Broncos 16 with 5:13 to go. — Nguyen

Bo Nix with a 7-yard TD run and two-point attempt to Troy Franklin. So it's 26-16 Giants with 5:13 left.

Broncos defense hasn't recorded a takeaway since a Week 3 Brandon Jones INT of Justin Herbert. Probably going to need one here. — Gabriel

A sliver of hope remains. Bo Nix runs in a touchdown, then hits Troy Franklin Jr. for a two-point conversion. The score is 26-16 with 5:13 to go. Squint hard enough, and there's still a way for the Broncos to win this. — Schubert

Should have had Nix running when this game started. Just constantly feels like Payton is calling a game for a team he had in New Orleans, not this one. -- Renck

First-and-goal (4:53 p.m.): Bo Nix connects with Tyler Badie for a 12-yard catch-and-run. — Nguyen

Run, Bo, run (4:52 p.m.): Bo Nix used his legs to get a 21-yard run. — Nguyen

Touchdown, Giants (4:40 p.m.): The deflection giveth and the deflection taketh away. — Gabriel

Another deflection but this time in the Giants' favor. Theo Johnson comes up with the ball and rumbles in for a 41-yard touchdown. Giants 26, Broncos 8 with 10:14 to go. — Nguyen

One deflection TD deserves another. This time the ball goes off Wan'Dale Robinson and into the arms of Theo Johnson who runs all the way to the end zone. This game is OVER. — Schubert

Driving (4:37 p.m.): Big run there by Cam Skattebo. Denver needs to stop the Giants if they want a shot at winning this game. — Nguyen

Cam Skattebo busts loose for an 18-yard run and the Giants are back in Broncos territory. A field goal here really puts the Broncos in a bind. -- Schubert

Touchdown, Broncos (4:31 p.m.): Troy Franklin to the rescue! A pass intended for Courtland Sutton bounces off his hands and Franklin hauls in the deflection for a touchdown. At this point, take them any way you can get them.

Tack on Nix's two-point pass to Courtland Sutton, and we've got a 19-8 game here at Empower Field. — Schubert

Troy Franklin with a couple of solid plays on the Broncos scoring drive. Ends 16-drive drought without a score. Franklin adjusted as Nix scrambled to make catch near goal line. Then on ball that ricocheted off Sutton, Franklin makes diving catch for TD. Sutton follows with 2-point conversion catch. It's 19-8 Giants with 14:08 remaining. It was 8 plays, 78 yards, in 3:33. The drought is over. -- Renck

Big catch (4:30 p.m.): Bo Nix finds Troy Franklin right at the 2-yard line. Denver threatening. — Nguyen

Troy Franklin adjusts after a busted post and Bo Nix finds him down at the Giants 2. — Schubert

Third-quarter thoughts — Giants 19, Broncos 0

Parker Gabriel, beat reporter: The Broncos haven't been shutout for just about eight years on the dot, since Week 7 2017. They may avoid that fate, but 19 points in the fourth quarter is a tall, tall task for this group.

Troy Renck, sports columnist: Broncos do one thing well: run the ball. Do that out of uptempo. And blitz to get a turnover. But this game demands hard questions on if Payton should continue to call plays, share the duties.

Matt Schubert, sports editor: The Broncos need points on every drive from here on out if they want to win this one today. In perhaps the least surprising development, the offense got going the moment the Broncos went no-huddle. Perhaps there's something to be taken from that.

Third-quarter updates

Big run (4:26 p.m.): Then J.K. Dobbins finds space with a 32-yard run. The Broncos may just make a game of this yet. — Schubert

Marching (4:25 p.m.): Broncos are marching after Bo Nix layers in a ball to Courtland Sutton. Ball on the Giants' 48. -- Schubert

Nice run (4:24 p.m.): J.K. Dobbins with a nice 9-yard run to start the drive. — Nguyen

Another penalty (4:23 p.m.): Special teams getting into it now. Broncos' JL Skinner called on the hold on the kick return. — Nguyen

Touchdown, Giants (4:19 p.m.): Tyrone Tracy Jr. with the 31-yard touchdown run. It capped a seven-play, 59-yard drive. No good on the two-point try. Giants 19, Broncos 0 with 2:41 to go in the third quarter. — Nguyen

Cam's day (4:18 p.m.): Cam Skattebo looking like the best running back on the field today. Two runs gives the Giants a first down to being their next drive. He's at 68 yards on 13 touches now. — Schubert

Three-and-out (4:12 p.m.): Denver has zero rhythm on offense. Bo Nix with a fumble and two incompletions on that drive. — Nguyen

I wonder what Russell Wilson is thinking watching this Broncos offensive outing from the visiting sideline. — Gabriel

Broncos' total yards midway through the third quarter: 116. — Schubert

Russ watch (4:10 p.m.): Russell Wilson may or may not be doing high knees on the Giants sideline. -- Schubert

Forcing fourth down (4:07 p.m.): Zach Allen deflects Dart's pass attempt. Denver forces the punt. — Nguyen

Sacked (4:05 p.m.): Dondrea Tillman takes down Jaxson Dart for an 8-yard loss. Dart looks a little hobbled coming up. — Nguyen

Penalty (4:03 p.m.): On third-and-12, Dart finds Robinson for the first down. Then Riley Moss is dinged with a facemask call. Just a bad day for Denver. — Nguyen

First-down conversion (4 p.m.): On third-and-4, Jaxson Dart finds Theo Johnson for a big 19-yard gain. — Nguyen

Another penalty (3:58 p.m.): Pass interference call on Jahdae Barron. First down, Giants. — Nguyen

Barron hasn't played much because Broncos not in dime. He was in nickel. And got PI. Been that kind of day. -- Renck

Overthrown (3:54 p.m.): Bo Nix overshoots Troy Franklin on a deep pass. Denver is punting. — Nguyen

First down (3:52 p.m.): Good start for Denver's offense. A first-down strike to Courtland Sutton. — Nguyen

Halftime thoughts — Giants 13, Broncos 0

Parker Gabriel, Broncos beat reporter: Here's a rundown of the Brocnos' last 14 offensive possessions dating to the second quarter in London last week:

  • 1 FG
  • 10 punts
  • 1 safety against
  • 1 TOD
  • 1 Half ended

So three points for and two against the last 14 times Sean Payton's offense has had the ball.

Troy Renck, sports columnist: Broncos might be rethinking playing after London. No team west of the Mississippi has ever gone to London and not followed it with a bye. Coach Payton said that he told the league he did not want a bye, citing home teams with a 12-4 record after London. .... Sure looks like mistake right now. ... Broncos booed off the field after a first half that alternated between boring and embarrassing. Denver trails 13-0. Broncos have six first downs and 102 yards offense. Both qbs are 9-for-19. The difference is Dart found wide open TE for easy TD on busted coverage.

Matt Schubert, sports editor: Whose idea was it to play the next Sunday after a trip to London?

Second-quarter updates

Boo-urns (3:36 p.m.): Former Broncos backup QB Ben DiNucci tweeted, "Is it time for Davis Webb to call plays in Denver?" He is wondering aloud what a lot of apountry thinking. -- Renck

And the Broncos are booed off the field heading into halftime. -- Schubert

QB hit (3:32 p.m.): Justin Strnad had a clean run to Jaxson Dart. He clobbers him, forcing the QB to throw a bad pass. Giants punt. — Nguyen

Penalty (3:28 p.m.): Pass interference pulls the Giants out of the shadow of their own goalposts on third down. The Broncos can do almost nothing right today. -- Schubert

Not sure about the interference call on McMillian. But on third-and-long from 2-yard line, why? He was releasing the receiver to the safety. If he fits in that window, tip the cap. The number of penalties and mistakes continue to haunt Broncos. Way they are playing right now, if defense isn't perfect, they cannot win. -- Renck

No good (3:20 p.m.): And then Sutton is absolutely obliterated on fourth-and-goal from the 2. Goal line stand, and the Broncos are in serious trouble. — Schubert

Well if that's not this game in a nutshell so far.

Broncos went screen to Courtland Sutton on fourth-and-goal and Dane Belton absolutely popped him. Turnover on downs. — Gabriel

Peyton Manning said today that the bubble screen that coaches ask him about worked in large part because of DT. The Broncos ran it on fourth down. And it's so slow developing. And DT used to catch it with momentum going forward. Sutton caught flat footed. Per usual, there was a missed block. And he was belted. — Renck

Tricky (3:18 p.m.): Garett Bolles was WIDE OPEN on second-and-goal!!!

And Nix misses him. This place would've EXPLODED. — Schubert

Driving (3:17 p.m.): Then a dart to Courtland Sutton on a rollout. Broncos ball at the Giants 5. A touchdown here changes the tenor of this game significantly. -- Schubert

The one reliable play for Broncos. The long crossing route to Courtland Sutton on third down for 32 yards. -- Renck

Taking a shot (3:16 p.m.): Bo Nix takes a draw on fourth-and-short to keep a drive alive, then misses a shot to Marvin Mims Jr. on the next down. Broncos are in Giants territory, and they desperately need points. — Schubert

Fourth-down conversion (3:15 p.m.): Bo Nix uses his legs to convert the fourth-and-3. — Nguyen

Running game (3:13 p.m.): Cam Skattebo has seven touches for 48 yards so far against the Broncos today.

That's only slightly larger than the number of picks between RJ Harvey's selection (60th) and Skattebo's (105th) in last spring's draft. — Schubert

Kick returners (3:08 p.m.): RJ Harvey got yanked from kick return duty after the big mistake earlier. Tyler Badie was back there with Marvin Mims Jr. this time. — Gabriel

QB comparison (3:08 p.m.):

  • Jaxson Dart: 8/16, 163, 2 TD
  • Bo Nix: 4/10, 27

— Gabriel

Touchdown, Giants (3:04 p.m.): Cam Skattebo, the guy the Broncos should've drafted, gets in the end zone and the Broncos now trail 13-0 after a missed extra point. — Schubert

So far it is the Giants very much backing up their talk this week. Not so much from the Broncos. — Gabriel

Dump down pass on third-and-11 to Skatteboo, and he rumbles in for score. Singleton got blocked, and McMillian stayed too high on tackle. As bad as the last three quarters were in London, this is worse because Broncos are at home. They are the first team west of Mississippi not to have bye after London. And their play suggests why they needed it. -- Renck

Statue of Liberty (3:03 p.m.): Giants out here running the statue of liberty. — Schubert

Sacked (3:02 p.m.): The reigning AFC defensive player of the week, Jonathon Cooper, just added to his sack total. — Nguyen

First down (3:01 p.m.): First down on virtual measurement. Broncos really need to hold Giants to FG with the way offense is playing right now. -- Renck

Another defensive penalty (2:58 p.m.): It's been a rough start for the Broncos. With the Giants in the red zone, Nik Bonitto was just dinged for an offsides penalty. — Nguyen

Bellinger (2:56 p.m.): The don't cover Bellinger plan is working out poorly for the Broncos. — Schubert

Three-and-out (2:53 p.m.): Another drive, another punt for the Broncos. — Nguyen

First-quarter thoughts — Giants 7, Broncos 0

Parker Gabriel, Broncos beat reporter: Marvin Mims has 26 yards on two touches. Everybody else for Denver has 17 yards on 16 snaps.

Troy Renck, sports columnist: Broncos have 43 yards of offense and have converted one first down. They liked London so much. They brought it to Denver. The reliance of Harvey makes no sense. Get the ball to Dobbins. Engram and Mims. Harvey doesn't have it right now. Using him comes across as arrogance.

Matt Schubert, sports editor: It's never a good sign when the locals are booing before the end of the first quarter. Sean Payton clearly wants to show he made the right decision drafting RJ Harvey. Right now, that ain't looking great. On the bright side, the Broncos are one coverage breakdown (or missed holding flag) from this being a tie game.

First-quarter updates

Three-and-out (2:47 p.m.): Three plays, just 1 yard. Denver's defense comes up big again. The offense, however, needs to get something going. — Nguyen

Boo-urns (2:44 p.m.): Boos are coming out from the Empower Field crowd after Marvin Mims gets dropped for a loss. Then on third down, Bo Nix fires incomplete with a bomb down the sideline and ... more boos. We've got 2:05 left in the first quarter and Jeremy Crawshaw is the Broncos' star so far. -- Schubert

Those are three uninspired possessions. Smattering of boos. Broncos punt again after overthrown pass on third-and-18. Might need a pick six from defense to wake up crowd. -- Renck

Special teams (2:38 p.m.): RJ Harvey fielded a kickoff that was headed out of bounds and stepped out at the 5-yard line. Yikes. — Gabriel

Everything that can go wrong is going wrong for the Broncos. After the Broncos secondary lost Daniel Bellinger in coverage for a long touchdown pass, RJ Harvey fielded a punt along the sidelines and went out of bounds at the 6. OOF. -- Schubert

Touchdown, Giants (2:34 p.m.): Jaxson Dart finds tight end Daniel Bellinger for a wide-open 44-yard touchdown. Four plays for 77 yards on that drive. Giants 7, Broncos 0 with 6:54 to go in the first quarter. — Nguyen

Meet Dre Greenlaw (2:32 p.m.): Dre Greenlaw just introduced himself to Jaxson Dart. Sure the QB would have preferred a handshake. Damn. -- Renck

Big gain (2:30 p.m.): Jaxson Dart connected with Wan'Dale Robinson, who came down with an amazing catch for a 23-yard gain. — Nguyen

Completion (2:26 p.m.): Nix finally on board with a 9-yard completion to Sutton on third-and-11... Broncos punting again. -- Renck

Time to run (2:24 p.m.): Let the record show the Broncos needed five snaps to finally run the ball -- and it was a jet sweep to receiver Marvin Mims Jr. — Schubert

Geez running the ball works vs. Giants. Who knew? -- Renck

Time to run? (2:23 p.m.): Broncos get ball back. Giants do not have a great run defense. Might be time, you know, to run the ball. -- Renck

Off and running (2:22 p.m.): Dre Greenlaw's played six snaps and been in on four tackles already. — Gabriel

Three-and-out (2:20 p.m.): New York had an 8-yard run by Cam Skattebo on first down. Then did nothing else. Denver will start at its own 15 after the punt. — Nguyen

Three-and-out (2:15 p.m.): Three pass attempts by Bo Nix, three incompletions. Broncos are punting. — Nguyen

The Broncos' offense is decidedly not back yet. — Gabriel

Bo Nix almost killed Courtland Sutton on the first drive. The kids call that a "hospital ball." — Schubert

Palcho (2:12 p.m.): Alex Palczewski is indeed the Broncos starting LG. — Gabriel

Drive stopped (2:10 p.m.): The Giants' opening drive was stopped. Six plays for 24 yards. Their punt goes into the end zone. — Nguyen

Coin toss (2:05 p.m.): Broncos won the toss and deferred. Vance Joseph's defense on the field first against Jaxson Dart and company. — Gabriel

Pre-game updates

No Eli (2:05 p.m.): I asked Peyton Manning if Eli made the trip to see the Giants. Alas, he did not. But based on what Giants fans have told me on social media over the last 48 hours, Jaxson Dart is a combination of Eli Manning-Phil Simms-Y.A. Tittle. So there's that. -- Renck

Remember D.T. (2:04 p.m.): Peyton Manning became emotional when discussing what it will be like to see Demaryius Thomas' name go up next to his on the stadium facade at halftime. The two were close. DT was practically family with how much the Manning kids adored him. -- Renck

Fandom (1:47 p.m.): Jerseys seen on the way into the stadium: John Elway, Eli Manning, Lawrence Taylor and ... Mark Bavaro?!?! Also, some dude hawking "Bo (expletive) Nix" T-shirts. -- Schubert

DT (12:45 p.m.): So this is cool and not surprising if you know their friendship, but Peyton Manning made it clear he wanted Demaryius Thomas’ Ring of Fame pillar next to his, with that spot left open for it. -- Renck

Broncos inactives today (12:38 p.m.):

  • New ST ace J.T. Gray
  • RB Jaleel McLaughlin
  • DLs Jordan Jackson and Sai'Vion Jones
  • OLB Jonah Elliss (shoulder)

Little surprising Gray is inactive, but must have just needed a week after being claimed early in the week off Baltimore's practice squad.

McLaughlin goes back to being inactive with Tyler Badie healthy again this weekend. — Gabriel

Russell Wilson (12:34 p.m.): Russell Wilson found a couple of Giants fans near the visiting tunnel and is signing autographs after a long warmup.

Third time in as many years watching a game here for Wilson. Benched in late 2023 with the Broncos, hurt last year Week 2 with Pittsburgh and benched with NYG. — Gabriel

O-line (12:30 p.m.): Also looks from early warmups like OT Frank Crum will be active for the first time this season. With Alex Palczewski moving into the starting lineup at LG, could be that Crum is Denver's new jumbo tight end. The Broncos are really, really high on Crum's long-term potential at tackle. Now he'll perhaps have a role on game days going forward. — Gabriel

Greenlaw debut (12:27 p.m.): Broncos ILB Dre Greenlaw is not only up and on the active roster today, but a source said he's right into the starting lineup. Still think there will be a somewhat limited role in terms of overall snap count, but Greenlaw's getting thrown right into the mix in the middle of Vance Joseph's defense next to Alex Singleton. — Gabriel

Scouting report (10:26 a.m.): Check out how the Broncos match up with the Giants in Luca Evans' scouting report.

Game predictions

Parker Gabriel, Broncos writer: Broncos 17, Giants 13

Week-to-week, itap difficult to pin down exactly what to expect from Sean Payton and the Broncos’ offense. Whatap not nearly as muddled: The Denver defense is elite. They’ve got 10 sacks more than anybody else in football this season already. Jaxson Dartap brought energy to the G-men, but Denver’s completely swallowed up mobile quarterbacks the past two weeks in Jalen Hurts and Justin Fields. If WR Malik Nabers were playing in this game, the New York offense would feel much scarier. Instead, both of these defensive fronts are primed to do damage. The Broncos’ unit just normally does more.

Luca Evans, Broncos writer: Broncos 27, Giants 10

Alright, letap say it. Let Bo Cook. Sean Payton has a golden opportunity to play not-so-conservative football against New York and get Bo Nix in rhythm against a Giants secondary thatap not very good. If the Broncos’ front can hold up, Denver can easily string some big plays together and get Nix humming like he was late against the Eagles. Cam Skattebo will run for one touchdown, but the Broncos have all the motivation they appear to need to swallow up Dart.

Troy Renck, Broncos writer: Broncos 23, Giants 16

When even English fans are embarrassed by the Broncos after watching soccer their entire lives, it speaks to the ground the offense has to cover. The Broncos do one thing well, ranking seventh in rushing yards per game at 103.7. And the Giants allow 128.8. Time to lean on J.K. Dobbins for 20 carries and add more uptempo for Bo Nix in the passing attack. The Broncos offense won’t need to do much because Denver’s defense will smother the Arm&Hammer duo of Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo.

Sean Keeler, Broncos writer: Broncos 24, Giants 20

Jaxson Dart is the NFL’s new Alex Warren -- and his first month as a starter has been anything but “Ordinary.” But wasn’t Gardner Minshew the last rookie QB to win at Empower Field? Back in 2019? The Broncos defense has come a long, long, long way since then. Dart is completing just 48% of his throws this season with one score and two picks when under pressure. No defensive front has been generating pressure like Vance Joseph’s crew since Buddy Ryan’s 1980s Bears. Dart and Cam Skattebo are out there running around like kids on the playground. This is a business trip, and nobody messes with Sean Payton’s business in October.

Broncos-Giants NFL Week 7: Must-reads

Renck: Broncos defense giving off 2015 vibes for Von Miller, Wade Phillips. But they’re not there yet.

Von was him.

From the moment he juked with his right shoulder and ran around helpless right tackle Mike Remmers in the first quarter, it was destined.

When he slipped under a block and stripped the ball from Cam Newton in the fourth quarter, it happened.

The Broncos won Super Bowl 50, their Orange Rush punctuating one of the most impressive defensive seasons in NFL history. As the players performed snow angels in the confetti on the Levi’s Stadium field, the prevailing thought was there would never be another Von or a Denver D like this. Well ... Broncos analysis: What we’ve learned, what we haven’t and whatap ahead for Sean Payton’s team

As Sean Payton’s team prepares for the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon, a pivot point in the regular season arrives.

The group has played four of its first six games away from home. Now four of the next five are at home. The Broncos leave Denver just once between now and Thanksgiving.

With the season’s opening stanza in the books, here’s a look at whatap been learned about the Broncos so far, what questions remain unanswered and whatap ahead. Read Parker Gabriel's analysis.

As Demaryius Thomas’ Broncos Ring of Fame induction arrives, many still grapple with his death

Four years after the legendary Broncos receiver was found dead in his shower at just 33 years old -- due to complications from a seizure disorder, a medical examiner later ruled — the shock of Thomas’ loss still burns through those closest to him.

This weekend, many of those same people and former Broncos teammates will reassemble in Denver, as the organization honors Thomas with his Ring of Fame induction at the 10-year reunion of the franchise’s Super Bowl 50 team. All are overjoyed at the Broncos’ celebration of No. 88 and honored to attend. But these days will be bittersweet, as dozens of loved ones bring together scattered pieces of Thomas’s beginning and end, still healing from pangs of guilt at a death thatap hard to rationalize.
