Two people died Sunday morning in a crash on a ramp connecting two interstates in Denver, police said.
The first posted about the single-car crash on the exit ramp from southbound I-225 to southbound I-25 at 4:38 a.m. Sunday.
The exit ramp remained closed for hours on Sunday amid the crash cleanup and investigation, according to the . As of 2 p.m., the ramp had reopened to traffic.
It’s unclear how many people were inside the car, but two people died from their injuries at the scene of the crash, police said.
The identified the victims as 14-year-old Jazmin Castillo and 19-year-old Alfredo Castillo. Both died from multiple blunt force injuries, and the coroner ruled their deaths an accident.
Additional information about the cause of the crash was not available Sunday, and the Denver Police Department did not respond to requests for comment.
