Southbound Interstate 25 reopened after a multi-vehicle crash near 84th Avenue, Thornton police said Tuesday.

One person was taken to the hospital after a crash near 84th Avenue that happened just before noon, according to the Thornton Police Department. Additional information about the extent of their injuries was not immediately available.

The highway reopened at 1:17 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
