Nearly 400 flights canceled, delayed at Denver International Airport on Monday

1,599 flights were canceled and delayed at DIA over the weekend as a winter storm hit the United States

Nearly 400 flights were canceled or delayed at Denver International Airport on Monday as frigid temperatures and snowstorms continued across the country.

Denver weather: Cold weather advisory in effect for metro area

As of 3 p.m., 269 flights headed in and out of DIA had been delayed and 105 had been cancelled, .

More than 1,100 delays and 480 cancellations were recorded at the Denver airport over the weekend as a winter storm hit the United States, .

Monday's flight delays and cancellations at DIA included:

  • Air Canada: One flight canceled, four delayed
  • American Airlines: 17 flights canceled, 10 delayed
  • Delta Airlines: Four flights canceled, 14 delayed
  • Frontier: Two flights canceled, 13 delayed
  • JetBlue: Four flights canceled, one delayed
  • SkyWest: 32 flights canceled, 46 delayed
  • Southwest: 17 flights canceled, 76 delayed
  • United: 28 flights canceled, 95 flights delayed

Roughly 5,900 flights had been canceled at airports across the country at that time, and another 6,300 had been delayed, .
