Nearly 660 flights delayed, 129 canceled at DIA on Monday

As of 8 p.m., 659 flights headed in and out of Denver International Airport had been delayed and 129 had been canceled

Nearly 660 flights were delayed or canceled on Monday at Denver International Airport, according to flight tracking data.

As of 8 p.m., 659 flights headed in and out of DIA had been delayed and 129 had been canceled, . At that time, no traffic management programs — including ground stops or ground delays — were in effect or planned for the Denver airport, according to the .

Delays included 274 Southwest flights, 188 United flights, 89 SkyWest flights, 57 Frontier flights, 19 Delta Air Lines flights and 17 American Airlines flights, according to FlightAware. An additional six airlines delayed between one and five flights.

Southwest canceled the most flights on Monday, at 40, followed closely by 39 from SkyWest and 27 from United. Five other airlines canceled between one and eight flights.

Travelers at Denver International Airport also saw more than 1,000 delays and nearly 150 flight cancellations on Sunday, after roughly an inch of snow fell at the airport that morning.
