Person killed in shooting in Denver’s Northeast Park Hill neighborhood

The shooting occurred around 3:42 a.m. Friday

A person was pronounced dead Friday morning following a fatal shooting incident at Forest Street and E. Thrill Place in Denver.

The Denver Police Department first posted about on social media around 3:42 a.m., where they reported that the victim had taken themselves to a hospital.

The victim, identified by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner as 28-year-old Leeah Hines, later died, and the shooting is now being investigated as a homicide. Police said updates will be released when available.
