Woman killed in Arapahoe County T-bone crash, sheriff says

Two cars collided in a T-bone crash at a north Centennial intersection late Wednesday night, killing a woman, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.

Arapahoe County deputies responded to the crash at the intersection of East Smoky Hill Road and South Telluride Street at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, .

One car T-boned another, killing a woman, sheriff’s officials said. Officials did not specify which car the woman killed was in, but said no one else was injured.

The intersection was closed for several hours after the crash, but fully reopened just before 4:30 a.m., .

Additional information about the crash, including the directions both cars were traveling, which driver was at fault and whether drugs, alcohol or speeding are believed to be factors, was not immediately available Thursday. The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office’s traffic safety unit, according to the agency.
