Police from “outside jurisdictions” shot a suspect near Sixth Avenue and Santa Fe Drive in Denver on Tuesday morning, the said.
Denver police posted about the shooting in the 600 block of Santa Fe Drive on social media at 11:40 a.m. but did not say what agency the involved officers were with and did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The person shot by police was taken to the hospital in unknown condition, department officials said. Police closed roads in the area, and department officials said drivers should take alternate routes.
