Holly Creek Retirement Community in Centennial held its 15th annual Boat Regatta Race on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2026.
Four participating teams created boats out of cardboard, duct tape and trash bags, and built those boats around this year’s infomercial theme. Residents bet on which boat will win, and all proceeds go to Humane Colorado, formerly the Denver Dumb Friends League. Team Experimental Designs won the series of races.
