
The Nuggets are your Christmas nightcap for the second year in a row.
Denver will visit Golden State in the final game of an on Christmas Day, tipping off at 8:30 p.m. MT on ABC and ESPN. It’s the fifth consecutive season the Nuggets have been chosen as part of the league’s Christmas slate and the second time in four seasons that they’ll face Steph Curry’s Warriors.
It’s also the second straight year they’ll share the holiday with the Broncos, who are set to host the Buffalo Bills that afternoon (2:30 p.m. MT) on Netflix.
Nikola Jokic authored one of the great statistical performances of his career last Christmas, amassing 56 points, 16 rebounds and 15 assists as Denver erased a nine-point deficit in overtime against the Timberwolves. Jokic set an NBA record with 18 points in the overtime period. That game was also played in the late-night slot.
The Nuggets will open their season with a nationally televised road game as well, visiting Oklahoma City on Oct. 22 (7:30 p.m. MT, ESPN), the league revealed Tuesday in conjunction with a series of marquee broadcast announcements.
The rest of the 2026-27 regular-season schedule will be released Thursday. Denver’s only known games as of now are the season opener, the Christmas game and a Nov. 7 meeting with the Pacers in Mexico City.
