are trying to track down a bronze statute that was stolen from the front of Brown International Academy early Tuesday morning.
A red, newer model pickup was seen loading the statue and fleeing the Denver elementary school, located at 2550 Lowell Blvd., at 2:43 a.m. Tuesday, according to police. The statue depicts a group of children with their hands over their hearts.
Police announced the theft Thursday as part of its crime stopper program. Officials ask anyone with information to call 720-913-7867 or by visiting . Tipsters can remain anonymous and may receive a reward.
