The University of Colorado Boulder is investigating a verbal altercation between students that included racial slurs, according to a statement from CU system President Mark Kennedy.

A 6-year-old Boulder girl fell about 40 feet from Eldora's Sundance Ski Lift around 1 p.m. Sunday, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
