In the 4th Congressional District, Republican incumbent Ken Buck retained his seat, according to unofficial election results.

Buck easily beat his Democratic opponent, Karen McCormicks.

Buck has 62 percent of the vote compared to 38 percent for McCormick, a Longmont veterinarian.

Buck, a Windsor resident, was first elected to the 4th Congressional District in November 2014 and re-elected two years later. Before winning a seat in Congress, he served three terms as Weld District Attorney.

He said his top issues include keeping a strong economy going, increasing border security and controlling government spending.
