My favorite subject is: Mathematics. For whatever reason, it kind of comes easy and I understand it.

My favorite athlete is: Michael Phelps, because he’s just unreal.

My favorite team is: The Nuggets. I’ve always been a fan, even a bigger fan with them doing better.

What I listen to: Rap and little of everything.

The best thing on my training table is: Chicken Parmesan.

Pre-meet ritual: I just stay calm and relaxed, joke around.

Time management tip: Stay focused, spend your time wisely and use the time available.

Planned career: Undecided, maybe business or broadcasting.

My family: Parents Judy and Bernie, sister Ann.

I would love to visit: Australia.

What I like most about high school sports: The team atmosphere. With club it’s little more individualized, but I like the team.

What I like least about high school sports: I just wish you could swim more events at meets. We’re limited to two individuals
and two relays.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, The Post and officials of The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl, and their schools will receive a substantial scholarship, made possible by The Denver Athletic Club Scholarship Fund.
