A state parks pass is required for all vehicles entering the park.

Observatory events|The Chamberlin Observatory, 2930 E. Warren Ave., is having a “Solar Saturday” event from 1 to 4 p.m. A telescope equipped with solar filters will be available to observe the sun’s sunspots, prominences and other active features. Cost is $2.

Wildflower hike|Naturalist Sue Schleuder will lead a hike and discuss how to identify wildflowers at 2 p.m. in Roxborough State Park, 4751 N. Roxborough Drive, Littleton. A $5 daily state parks pass is required for all vehicles entering the park.
