A man was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds at a Denver apartment early today.
Police had no motives or suspects in the death, which was being investigated as a homicide.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said officers were called to the 900 block of South Quince St. about 1 a.m. today on a report of shots fired in the area.
“Upon arrival, officers were able to locate a witness who directed them to an apartment where officers gained entry and discovered an unidentified black male lying on the floor apparently suffering from gunshot wounds,” Jackson said in a statement.
Medical crews pronounced the unidentified man dead at the scene.
Jackson said the exact cause of death was being investigated.
