Denver police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide in which a man and a woman were found shot on the corner of South Federal Boulevard and West Harvard Avenue.
Police responded to reports of shots at the College View Recreation Center in southwest Denver shortly before noon Thursday.
Denver police found two people at the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A man, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene, and a woman, 32, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police were unable to determine their relationship and did not release their names.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said it appears the man shot the woman, then himself.
Two employees of the Denver Parks and Recreation Department witnessed the incident but did not want to talk to reporters.
