Leonardo DiCaprio has bought a Caribbean island near Belize and plans to turn it into an eco-friendly resort, the British newspaper The Sun reported. DiCaprio, 30, purchased the 104-acre Blackadore Caye, just 2 miles long but lined with white sand beaches and only a 25-minute boat ride from the Belize Barrier Reef.
A starstruck fan gave Jennifer Aniston the coat off her back when the actress complimented her about the jacket.
While shopping with former “Friends” co-star Courteney Cox in London, Aniston said, quoted by Teen
Hollywood.com, “I casually complimented her on her great coat and she explained it was one of her own designs and insisted on giving it to me. Nicollette Sheridan told the British magazine OK! a shark led to the “Desperate Housewives” actress meeting her fiancé Nicklas Soderblom in the ocean near Malibu, Calif.
“Nicklas was on a surfboard and there was a huge great white shark that had come over from Catalina,” Sheridan said. “I was doing my daily 3-mile swim and I saw this fin. I swam as fast as I could and punched that shark right in the nose repeatedly. And saved him!”
Christina Aguilera dropped a song from her new album when she discovered it was written by rival Britney Spears, ananova.com reported. The song was credited to Aurora Lynne, a pseudonym Spears uses.
Fergie of the rap group Black Eyed Peas and boyfriend, actor Josh Duhamel, got engaged last weekend, Star magazine reported.
Fergie, whose real name is Stacy Ferguson, 30, and Duhamel, 32, met when she made a guest appearance on the actor’s NBC series, “Las Vegas.”
