Where: Just outside of San Jose, Costa Rica
Out and about: We were in Costa Rica to do construction work on a home for abandoned children. One weekend we went to Monte Verde to visit the cloud forest and Mount Arenal an active volcano.
Travel tip: This time of year the weather is perfect with night temps in the 60’s and up to 80 degrees during the day with very little humidity. Our winter here is their dry season. Prices are very reasonable and restaurants have menus with English.
