Where: Overlooking Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany
Out and about: While visiting our Granddaughter, her husband and son in Frankfurt, Germany, we took a two day trip to the village of Hohenschwangau, located near the Germany/Austria border. Located there are two famous castles, Neuschwanstein
and Hohenschwngau. We stayed overnight and toured the Neuschwanstein Castle.
Travel tip: The German Autobahn is a wonderful freeway system. The design, construction and maintenance of these roads is excellent. The German countryside is very beautiful. The cities and villages are very neat and clean. If you should go to visit the castles, we would highly recommend the Hotel Muller Hohenschwangau.
