Denver police arrested a teenager in connection with the Thursday morning shooting of two people.
One of the victims was killed in the 2:06 a.m. shooting, which occurred in the 2800 block of Columbine Street.
Several people were talking in the backyard of a home when the shooter walked up and fired several rounds, police said.
Cruz Castellanos, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim, a teenager, was taken to Denver Health Medical Center with a gunshot wound.
