Dog days of summer. Sunday

It’s that time.

Sigh.

Another Denver summer is winding down to a close. We’re packing up the sunscreen and pool rafts and coolers and watermelon slicing apparatuses for storage for the chilly months.

But, as per usual, Denver refuses to let summer go out without a bang, and Breakdown Book Collective wants to make sure we enjoy the end of summer just as much as its peak.

Join them for an late afternoon end-of-summer barbecue bash this Sunday: food will be provided but feel free to bring your own dish to share.

Come kiss the summer sun goodbye.

What: End of summer barbecue

Where: Breakdown Book Collective, 1409 Ogden Street, 4 p.m.

Cost: free
