Stanford, Calif. – Kellen Clemens threw for 393 yards and three touchdowns, and Oregon beat Stanford 44-20 on Saturday to get coach Mike Bellotti his 50th Pac-10 win.
Clemens, who played less than three quarters, became the fourth Oregon quarterback to surpass 7,000 total offensive yards for his career as the Ducks (4-1, 1-1) rebounded from last week’s loss to top-ranked Southern Cal.
Trent Edwards, under constant pressure, threw for 156 yards and a touchdown for Stanford (1-2, 0-1).
Clemens completed 22-of-29 passes in recording his second-best individual effort – he threw for 437 yards against Washington State last year – and moved into fourth on the school’s all-time list for total offense.
OREGON STATE 44, WASHINGTON STATE 33: Mike Hass caught seven passes for 161 yards and a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter to lead the Beavers (3-2, 1-1) over the Cougars (3-1, 0-2) in Corvallis, Ore.

Ed Hinkel scored with an acrobatic move at the end of a reverse and caught one of Drew Tate’s two touchdown passes, leading host Iowa (3-2, 1-1) to a 35-7 win over Illinois (2-3, 0-2).
