AlphaSniffer LLC of Boulder announced Sunday that the National Science Foundation has awarded the company an SBIR Phase One Grant to advance its development of an instrument for the real- time monitoring of biological- warfare agents. The $95,000 grant will allow AlphaSniffer to adapt its ongoing development programs to the specific needs of the Homeland Security Department.
