Denver Post staff writer Bill Williamson posts his Broncos Mailbag each Friday during the 2005 NFL season on DenverPost.com. Also, check back Sunday for more Q’s and A’s in our Sunday supplement, which runs in The Sunday Denver Post print edition, too.

In your Nov. 11 installment, you mentioned Michael Myers as one of your “unsung heroes.” I’ve heard a lot about Courtney Brown, Ebenezer Ekuban and Gerard Warren but very little about Myers.
— Tim Walker, Huntington Park, Calif.
That goes along with the “unsung” tag. He is an extremely hard worker. A blue collar type that teams need. Myers is not a superstar, but he fights every play and is a great run stuffer. A very solid part of the defense.
I saw on ESPN that they are predicting T.O. is going to Denver. PLEEEEASE tell me it isn’t so!
— Rod Huffman, Oakley, Kan.
. The Broncos are being pegged as a possible landing spot for Terrell Owens because of Mike Shanahan’s history of taking on players with pasts or bad reputations. The other teams consistently being linked as possible future homes for Owens include Oakland, Dallas, Miami and Atlanta. Those teams’ histories are also reason why they are being mentioned as possible places for Owens. Will Owens be a Bronco? Probably not. But you never know. He has to go somewhere.
How is the Broncos offensive line doing so far this year, since we hear a lot about its blocking scheme helping the running game enormously. There are no stats out there for these guys, unless you take into account the amount of rushing yards and the amount of sacks allowed (but they don’t always give a clear picture of the O-line’s performance). Where would you rank the line compared to other teams in the NFL?
— Fred C., Ottawa
This unit is playing at a high level after a slow start in the first two weeks. The line has given Plummer great protection, and it starts the running game. Because of its success in run and pass blocking, I’d say this is a top-five unit.
Really good teams in the NFL are very dominating for two or three quarters, but champions come to play 60 minutes of football. Playing 60 minutes of football is the only thing I see the Broncos missing to take out the Colts and return to the big game. Your thoughts?
— Charles, Napa, Calif.
That is probably the one remaining issue this team is facing right now. The Broncos have to play complete games. But remember, excluding the loss in New York, the Broncos built such big leads that they could withstand lapses. Really, was Oakland in that game last week? Everyone seems to think Darrent Williams’ interception return in the fourth quarter broke a tie. It gave Denver a three-touchdown lead. So these lapses haven’t been overly damaging, for the most part.
Now, tell me, was that not the most perfect Broncos weekend possible? Let me recap the veritable plethora of spectacular events befalling our Broncos this weekend:
1) Broncos win big
2) Broncos beat the dreaded Raiders
3) Broncos remain undefeated in the division
4) Chiefs lose
5) Broncos go up two games in the division
6) Redskins lose
7) Draft-pick stock increases
8) QB pressure finally pays off (four sacks)
9) Both D. Williams and A. Lelie put on a show
10) Last, not least, Jake continues to shine!
Wow! That was a great weekend!
— Gabe Morris, Frederick
Seems like you have it covered, Gabe.
