Jacko headed to poorhouse?

Michael Jackson faces foreclosure in the next two weeks on his Neverland Ranch and Sony Beatles music catalog, worth $270 million, the New York Daily News reported.

The pop star is heavily mortgaged to pay off attorney costs after being acquitted on child-molestation charges last spring. A business source told the Daily News Jackson owes $70 million on one loan and $200 million on another. The singer secured the loans with ownership of Neverland Ranch and his share of the music catalog that may be worth $1 billion, according to experts.

Jackson also has failed to make payments on a $2.2 million second mortgage he took out on the family’s Hayvenhurst mansion in Encino, Calif. Jackson’s mother, Katherine, brothers Randy and Jermaine, Jermaine’s ex-wife, Alejandra, and several children live there. A source said “they are making plans to move.” Janet Jackson bought her 75-year-old mother a house in Las Vegas, the News reported.

No, dummy, wear my clothes like this

Gwen Stefani took quick action when she noticed a Washington boutique was not prominently displaying her LAMB fashion line.

“My stuff is all hidden away!” Stefani shouted, according to skynews.com’s Sandro Monetti. The actress-singer stripped and re-dressed a mannequin in her designs in the store’s front window. “There, that’s much better,” Stefani said before leaving.

Don’t expect Scarlett Johansson to work in any more Michael Bay-directed films.

After Bay blamed the absence of “star quality” for his film flop “The Island,” Johansson told the Sunday New York Times Magazine her film co-star Ewan McGregor gave her several presents for her Chihuahua. She added that Bay “has enormous dogs. He needs them, he has a lot of enemies.”

British actor Jim Dale, who has narrated all the Harry Potter tomes for audio books, claims author J.K. Rowling may kill the young wizard in the seventh and final edition of the novel series. “She’s lived with Harry so long, she really wants to kill him off,” Dale told the New York Post. Rowling has joked of a similar fate for Harry.

George Lucas may be a high-tech moviemaker, but the “Star Wars” director has an aversion to the Internet.

“I don’t do e-mail,” Lucas admitted to the New York Daily News’ Lloyd Grove at last week’s premiere of “King Kong.” “And when I write, I don’t write on a computer. I write on a yellow pad – and I use a pencil.”

Rachel Weisz and her fiancé, “Requiem for a Dream” director Darren Aronofsky, are expecting their first child, the actress told the Daily Mirror. Weisz, 34, said she is three months pregnant.

Johnny Depp has a warning for the paparazzi:

“I don’t care if they take my photograph. I don’t care if they take (wife Vanessa Paradis’) photograph; we’re adults,” Depp told Loaded magazine. “But when they start taking photos of my kids and putting them in their magazines, that I can’t support … Make sure that you’re really far away because if I’m able to get my hands on you, I’ll swallow your nose. I’d bite your nose off and swallow it.”

Just remember, Johnny, most of the paparazzi leave a bad aftertaste.

Not to be outdone by former friend Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie has ended her nine-month engagement to Adam Goldstein, Richie’s publicist confirmed. Richie, 24, co-starred in the reality series “The Simple Life” with Hilton, who broke off her engagement to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis two months ago.

Actor Ken Watanabe has married Kaho Minami, a Japanese actress, the couple announced. Watanabe, 46, earned an Academy Award nomination for “The Last Samurai.”
