An index of Colorado stocks rose to a record close, ending the week higher for the 10th week in 11, in a rally led by Titanium Metals Corp. and Newmont Mining Corp.
The Bloomberg Colorado Index, a price-weighted list of companies based in the state, gained 13.54, or 4.2 percent, last week to 339.58.
Eighty-one stocks rose, 26 fell and three were unchanged.
The index hit a high of 340.04 in intraday trading. It has gained 28 percent in the past year.
