Follow trainees as they learn the essential skills needed to work in the friendly skies, including forgetting drink orders, ignoring call buttons, barf bag origami and pretending that anybody is paying attention to the “important safety information.” We hear it takes the first eight episodes just to master the vacant smile and the “bye bye” wave. 8 p.m. “King of Vegas”

In this reality series, top gamblers compete in such games of chance as poker, Pai Gow, black jack and horse racing. Other essential Vegas skills including recruiting prostitutes, calling in mob favors and hiding bodies in the desert will be covered in the later episodes. Spike TV

8:30 p.m. “Crumbs”

Suzanne joins a divorce group. A bunch of emotionally vulnerable people going through a period of intense anxiety, separated from the world they knew and thrown into a perilous emotional landscape? Sounds like kindergarten. ABC

9 p.m. “Without a Trace”

A middle school teacher goes missing. We don’t blame her. CBS
