Colorado Mammoth rookie forward Dan Carey was named a West Division reserve for the National Lacrosse League All-Star Game, to be played Feb. 25 in Toronto.
Carey, 23, from Peterborough, Ontario, ranks second on the Mammoth with 21 assists and 29 points. The No. 7 overall pick in last summer’s entry draft leads NLL rookies in scoring.
Mammoth captain Gavin Prout and defenseman Jay Jalbert were named starters for the West all-stars Monday.
