My favorite teams: Broncos, as football’s the big thing, and Manchester United and the Netherlands (national) soccer teams.
What I listen to: Classic rock, like Led Zeppelin, and new-age country.
The best thing on my training table: Pasta.
Pregame ritual: I mostly compete, but I have a lucky hat.
Time management tip: Having a balance and sitting down, trying to focus on what you’re working on, and one event at a time.
Planned career: Engineering.
My family: Parents Michael and Kimberly, brother Sean.
I would love to visit: European Alps and Norway.
What I like most about high school sports: Even though the sports in winter are pretty individual, I love the team I have, and the coaches have inspired me to do well. … Soccer, too. You’re making lifelong friends.
What I like least about high school sports: I like it all.
Preps
The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
