Aaron Spelling’s widow denies she is selling their mansion for $150 million. In a statement, Candy Spelling denied reports by tmz.com she has the home on the market. In the statement, Candy said, “I am forced to respond during this sensitive time that these stories are not true, nor do I have any current plans to sell the house that my husband, Aaron, and I built.”

According to tmz.com, sources say Westside Estate Agency has a “pocket listing” on the 56,000-square foot estate, meaning it quietly is being shopped among real estate agents and select buyers. The home in the Holmby Hills area of L.A. was built in 1991 for $47 million. Spelling died June 23.

The famous CBGB club in New York will close by mid-October, owner Hilly Kristal said. But Kristal told MTV.com the punk-rock landmark in the Bowery district may live on in Las Vegas.

“I have some developers who have some really great space in the downtown area. So, I’d say sometime in spring (of 2007) we’ll be in Las Vegas,” Kristal said.

The club owner tried to find replacement spaces in New York but didn’t make it past the negotiations phase. Kristal said he’s taking as much of the club as he can. “I am taking the bars with me, I am taking the stage – I’m taking the urinal that (Joey Ramone used) with me.” A highly publicized battle with the Bowery Residents Committee, a nonprofit group that was the club’s landlord, led to the CBGB’s demise.

Jesse Metcalfe, the former “Desperate Housewives” hunky landscaper, and his girlfriend, British rocker Nadine Coyle of Girls Aloud, were spotted looking at a $1.8 million mock-Tudor home in the Hollywood Hills recently. The Daily Mirror reported the couple were checking out the secluded spread atop a hill. Among their neighbors: Jennifer Lopez and her hubby, Marc Anthony, plus Oscar winner Charlize Theron. Metcalfe might have to reclaim his gardening gear – the home has a landscaped back garden with lush trees and a swimming pool.
