DENVER – The woman accused of orchestrating a drive-by shooting that left two young girls wounded last summer pleaded guilty Monday in Denver District Court.
Natalie McFarlane, 20, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault in the Aug. 21, 2005, shootings of Kenia Venzor and Kenia’s younger sister, Celine. The two girls were sleeping in their bed when they were shot and injured.
Authorities said the shooting was the result of a dispute between two groups of women.
McFarlane will be sentenced in November.
