BENTONVILLE, Ark.-
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said Saturday that its September sales were up 1.8 percent from the same period a year ago.
The five-week period began Aug. 26 and ended Friday. Wal-Mart’s official sales release for the period will be Thursday.
