Getting your player ready...

To prove the strength of his Stowaway Grill, Rob Osbourne hops all of his 170 pounds up and down on the stainless grill. No question, it’s tough. But who needs a fire-pit camping grill that can hold 340 hamburgers at one time? The real innovation in Osbourne’s Stowaway Grill is its carrying case. The Stowaway breaks down into a svelte plastic tube, eliminating the charred transit hassles of many other portable camp grills. The stainless is easy to clean, but the plastic makes sure the char of flamed meat never makes it to your pack, car, raft, hands, etc. While convenient, the grill is not for the growing number of light-is-right disciples. The largest grill, at 2 square feet ($60), weighs nearly 7 pounds, and even the $35 mini-grill is nearly 2 pounds. These are grills for raft-supported river trips and car camping, during which space and ease counts more than weight.
