A Fort Carson soldier will be charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shaking death of his 7- week-old daughter, the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office announced today.
Nicolette Klinker died Tuesday night at the Children’s Hospital in Denver. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office determined that the child died as a result of a closed head injury.
The father, Johnathan Klinker, 21, remains in custody in El Paso County on $25,000 bail.
