SNEAK PEEK
It’s not enough that you dye your hair orange each fall and have a closet full of Denver Broncos jerseys to wear with jeans on game days. Now you can step up your support for your favorite National Football League team and get in that much-needed walk before kickoff (or between all those timeouts) by wearing a pair of customized NFL sneakers. At rbkcustom.com, fans of the National Football League (and Major League Baseball) can choose the logo of their favorite team and customize shoes in team and seasonal colors. Variations are available to pick colors for everything from the eyelet laces to the soles with different colors and textures and in both men’s and women’s sizes. You can also have your name put on the back heel and the team name on the bottom of the shoe, to leave tracks. Shoes cost $90 and up and take about 7-10 days to make. Details at rbkcustom.com.com

LOOSE LIPS
It’s billed as the world’s first beer-flavored lip balm, and we think maybe there’s a reason for that. We prefer our smacker salves sweet, or at least minty, but those who are partial to Old Chub beer, one of the beverages brewed in Lyons at Oskar Blues Cajun Grill and Brewery, can now get the flavor of their favorite Scottish ale in stick form. The balm promises to keep lips in “sip shape” with a formula that includes almond and macadamia nut oils, as well as beeswax, cocoa butter and SPF 15. It’s $3 a tube at oskarblues.com.
