Demi Moore demands perfection in her body. According to the London Evening-Standard, the actress, 43, recently had saggy skin removed from her knees. A source told the newspaper, “Demi went to (Beverly Hills plastic surgeon) Brian Novack, who has already done work on her.” According to the report, Moore has had surgeries totaling nearly $430,000 over the years. Some of the alleged “work” done on Moore: liposuction, breast implants, breast implant reduction and lift, facial skin peels, teeth veneering and whitening, and brow lift. Moore also has employed a nutritionist, personal trainer, yoga teacher and kick-boxing coach.
Moore’s hubby, Ashton Kutcher, admitted he didn’t look forward to his role as a Coast Guard rescuer in the film “The Guardian.” Kutcher told the Sunday Express: “I don’t like water and being in it … I learned to swim but it wasn’t real swimming – it was dog paddling.” Kutcher, 28, said he spent up to nine hours a day in the water during shooting. “When I started swimming in the ocean I was throwing up constantly but I made myself keep going. Every time I threw up, I’d go back in and swim more.”
Russell Crowe is only 42, but he said he’s done with action roles. “The bones are creaking and the Achilles tendons don’t work the way they should,” Crowe was quoted by bang showbiz.com. Crowe’s grueling roles include a Roman warrior (“Gladiator”) and boxer Jim Braddock (last year’s “Cinderella Man”). Meanwhile, older actors are lining up for action features: Bruce Willis, 51, (fourth “Die Hard”); Harrison Ford, 64, (fourth “Indiana Jones”) and Sylvester Stallone, 60, (a new “Rambo” and possibly a sixth “Rocky”).
Ashlee Simpson is touting Skechers, according to teen hollywood.com. Simpson, 22, claims she is a fan of the casual shoe company. “I grew up wearing Skechers and hope to add a few more pairs to my wardrobe.”
