Husted Peek
Comedy Festival is in Aspen for the 13th year – Feb 28-March 4.
The insult humor of Don Rickles will be one of the fest’s highlights when the old timer (who’s act is pretty old) gets the USCAF Pinnacle Award. They’ll also screen John Landis’ documentary based on Rickles career, “The Rickles Project.”
Also in the lineup: A salute to the cast and creators of “Entourage” with Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrera and Jeremy Piven. I’m ready to party with E, Vince, Drama, Turtle and Ari.
Doing stand-up at the Wheeler Opera House: George Carlin, Steven Wright and rapper/comic Katt Williams.
Talking the talk on Blogging will be Mark Lisanti (defamer.com), Harvey Levin (TMZ.com) and Jessica Coen (formerly gawker.com, now on vanityfair.com).
Tix at uscaf.com starting at $650 for the Black Diamond Package, $125 for the Locals Package.
What happens in Vegas
Our pal Norm Clarke, now dishing it for the Las Vegas Review Journal, had a “Sightings” item in his paper Saturday with Yankee Derek Jeter and Denver Broncos wide receiver Javon Walker at Tryst nightclub Thursday night.
And we heard that Walker didn’t show up at Darrent Williams’ funeral Saturday because he was too shook up from the limo ride.
