
Steven Busch is a senior at Chaparral High School in Parker.
He was elected student body president for the 2006-07 school year and has been a member of the Douglas County Student Advisory Group for the past two years.
Steven has participated in cross country and track since he was a freshman and was voted the team captain as a junior and senior. He received the most valuable player award two years in a row. He was named first-team all-state for cross country in 2005.
Steven has a 3.34 grade-point average. He plays the piano and the drums.
Steven went on a student exchange to Slovenia and Italy in the summer of 2003 as part of an organization called Children’s International Summer Villages, which promotes peace and learning about other cultures.
Next year Steven plans on pursuing cross country and studying to become an architect in college. He will attend Drury University in Missouri on an athletic scholarship.
